The National Youth Commission’s very first blogfest was held at H. Cuisine Tomas Morato last October 26.

In the said event, bloggers were gathered as the Officials of the National Youth Commission (NYC) Officials, led by Mr. Leon Flores III, discussed about the plans and the projects of the Commission. This is because NYC wants to inform the bloggers about the efforts and the advocacies of the Commission so that these bloggers can integrate them in their writing and thus help in the online promotion of the Commission through blogging.

According to Chairman Flores, since a large percentage of the youth now is active online, it is a great move to try reaching to them most especially the ones from the far flung areas through the internet. “People who cannot be reached through physical contact will be reached online,” said Chairman Flores.

This is just one of the many steps of the NYC to reach the youth and change the face of the youth’s involvement “from tokenism to meaningful and active participation.”

There is nothing wrong with the life of dubbers. The life of dubbers is just peculiar. They start when everybody else is going home, get to their peak when others are already asleep, and end when others are waking up and starting their days.

Once again, this kind of life was experienced by the VoiceMaster for he is currently involved in a dubbing project for a new Koreanovela on ABS-CBN.

The VoiceMaster has been gone in the dubbing world for quite long. After various projects with ABS-CBN and Hero TV, he took a break and focused on his own company, CreatiVoices Productions. But, after a long time, he was invited once again by Neil “Papa” Tolentino, his good friend, to be one of the casts for his latest project.

Truly, this comeback was something really interesting. Yet, what was even more interesting was the fact that majority of the other casts for the series are actually graduates of the VoiceMaster’s voice acting school. No doubt, it was more of a reunion.

In fact, the VoiceMaster himself was glad and honored for he knows that these people who were just dreaming to be parts of the industry once are now practitioners of the art form. The VoiceMaster himself is happy for he knows that he helped these people a lot.

Things are getting tougher every week. Participants of VoiceWorx always learn something new and interesting.

On the 4th day of VoiceWorx, they learned lots of things about dubbing. They learned things like basic principles and other technical aspects of it through Mr. Danny “Ama” Mandia, their teacher for the day.

In fact, they even had the chance to experience how to do dubbing through a hands-on activity.

“Mahirap. Isang lang line ‘yun,” said Nieco Sison, also known as “Totoy Bato” on Yes FM after having tried it. In fact, like him, everyone found it challenging.

The VoiceMaster supported the launching of another GoNegosyo Book, The Go Negosyo 50 Most Inspiring Young Entrepreneur last October 20 at the Glorietta 5.

However, a lot of people were asking why the VoiceMaster is not included in the book when he is a distinguished entrepreneur who has a very inspiring to share. These people believe that the VoiceMaster’s story is surely going to inspire other people.

Under the supervision of Brian “Big Brian” Ligsay, the VoiceWorx Batch 18 had their final recording, November 19. This serves as a test if they improved after taking the workshop which lasted for two months.

Two months ago, they also had a recording of the same materials which served as diagnostic and reference for the specific things to focus on them. And now that they already finished the workshop, these old recordings serve as points of comparison.

The final recording went like an audition. This was also to give them the feel of the real auditions. Also, Big Brian gave them comments for their own references as they aim for further improvements.
